How long has Descon been designing and developing products for educational environments?
Descon was established in 1998 and has been designing, developing and manufacturing durable products for learning environments more than 12 years.

Are your products durable enough for our environment?
All products have been tested and are proven to withstand high traffic exposure in educational environments. We create all products by digitally printing high quality images on heavy duty vinyl or banner material, using no paper products. All vinyl images are laminated with heavy duty laminate and mounted on heavy duty plastic substrates.

Can I choose the colors and/or text I would like?
All themes can be customized to the colors you would like. The “Mascot Theme” is available if you would like to use your own text on the signs and banners. For each theme you will choose a main color and two accent colors that will be used the most in each of the pieces. Due to the variety of colors in the Nutrition Characters - other colors may be incorporated to tie everything together.

Will the graphics fit in my cafeteria/serving line space?
Dimensions for each piece are listed on the worksheet for your convenience. We suggest printing a copy (or request a copy from Descon) of the worksheet to take with you to your school to verify dimensions and choose colors.

If you still have questions about placement and available space contact Descon for additional tips and suggestions. If you have digital photos of your space we can review them for you and help your determine the best possible locations for the graphics.

How do I install the graphics?
Each graphic piece includes all the necessary hardware for installation. Instructions on hanging banners and securing signs to walls are included with each piece. Please contact Descon for any specific installation questions you may have.

What are my payment options?
We accept purchase orders from K-12 schools and government agencies.

We accept credit card payments using your MasterCard® card or Visa® card  . To order via credit card, contact Descon for credit card authorization form or click here for a printable application.

We accept prepayment via check or money order. For a more expedient processing of your order, send a money order. Contact Descon sales representative before sending in payment to be sure you have the correct total including shipping charges.

How do I place an order?
Use your worksheet to make your selections. Once the worksheet is complete, contact a sales representative at Descon to place your order over the telephone. You may also fax your order sheets at the end of your worksheet to the number below - A Descon sales representative will contact you within 24 hours to finalize your order.

Will I be able to preview my order prior to production?
Yes. You will be sent an order layout proof showing each piece that it is included in your order prior to production. The layout will show your chosen theme and the colors used on each of the pieces. Production will begin once you have signed and returned the approval page.

How long will it take me to receive my order?
Our standard turn-around time for theme orders is 4-6 weeks plus shipping time. During certain times of the year, we experience a higher volume of orders and our turnaround time will be longer. If you have a specific deadline to meet, please help us serve you better by contacting us in advance so we have sufficient time to fill your order.

What is your product warranty?
We offer a one year warranty against defects in quality of materials and workmanship.

We do not cover:
• Neglect (Example: Attachment of foreign objects, use of markers, harsh chemicals, improper cleaning, improper storage, etc.).
• Vandalism
• Graffiti
• Any changes or alterations by owner

Because we cannot control how our products are installed or used, the customer assumes the responsibility in determining product suitability for its intended use.
